SITE DESCRIPTION
Ideally located, 30-acre lushly landscaped extension of the Mediterranean-inspired style of the San Luis Resort, Spa & Conference Center. The new Convention Center is adjacent to more than 700 hotel rooms with another 1,400 within two miles. It is also steps away from Landry’s Seafood House, Rainforest Cafe, Nationally acclaimed International House of Pancakes restaurant and the AAA Four Diamond-rated Steakhouse at The San Luis. The facility features a 620-car underground parking garage. The San Luis Resort offers an additional 1,200 parking spaces with complimentary shuttle to the new center.

MEETING SPACE
A column-free 43,100 square-foot exhibition hall, a 15,500 square-foot grand ballroom, 12,000 square feet of breakout meeting space and 29,000 square feet of flexible pre-function, exhibit and reception space to accommodate groups of all sizes.

The Galveston Island Convention Center at The San Luis Resort is a Public / Private Partnership between the City of Galveston and Landry's Management, L.P., a subsidiary of Landry's Restaurants, Incorporated. Landry's Management, L.P. manages all aspects of the Convention Center including development and daily operations.

From Bolivar Peninsula:
Starting from Crystal Beach, travel approximately 10.7 miles to the Bolivar Ferry. Upon exiting the Ferry, take Ferry Road (SR-87) approximately 1.4 miles to Seawall Boulevard. Bear right onto Seawall Boulevard. Soon Seawall Boulevard merges into Broadway. Turn left (south) onto 6th St. (University Blvd.) and immediately bear right (southwest) onto Seawall Boulevard. Travel west along Seawall Blvd. for approximately 3.7 miles.
